This is a recording of the July Full Moon Magic, Wisdom & Tarot Circle recorded on Sunday, July 2nd The full moon in July will be on Monday July 3, 2023 7:39 AM EDT or 11:39 AM UTC. The July 3rd full moon will be the seventh full moon of 2023 and the full moon in Capricorn. One name for the July 2023 Full Moon is the Full Buck Moon. In 2023, the July Full Moon will be the first full moon of the Summer 2023 season. It will be the first full moon after the Summer Solstice in 2023. A Full Moon occurs when the Sun in Cancer forms an opposition to the Moon in Capricorn. The Full Moon is a time of culmination and the promise of fulfillment of that which was started at the New Moon. It is an emotional time – a time of romance, fertilization, and relationships. The Full Moon illuminates this conflict between roots and direction. With the Moon full and bright in the sky, symbolic “illumination” occurs in our own lives. However, these new feelings and revelations are emotional ones, as there is a sense of emotions bursting forth into our consciousness. It’s time to express ourselves and to let things out of our systems. Of course, we might want to exercise some care while doing so, knowing that what is coming out of us is fresh, unrefined, and not particularly rational as yet. This lunation connects with Mercury and Saturn, suggesting solid, practical ideas associated with the realizations and epiphanies occurring now.

Teacher, Student and Spirit

There is a unique and sacred relationship between spiritual teachers, students and spirit. This is a recorded webinar with Grandmother Suzanne and Niki Jaimes with your host Heather. The spiritual student and teacher spiritual relationship is one of the most challenging, delicate and precarious relationships that we can encounter in our lifetime. Primarily, because it is not a normal relationship, as there is a huge power imbalance Depending on how advanced the teacher is, there is tremendous faith needed from both the student and sometimes from the teacher. A student needs to have faith that the teacher has something to teach you and that they have reached a certain spiritual level that they won’t take advantage of the power difference between you. And faith that as the student, you will follow the spiritual guidance and practices given to you by the teacher. How do we navigate this relationship ? How do we trust in our judgement ? How do we choose a spiritual teacher ?

Grandmother Flordemayo is having an upcoming surgery soon and appears at the beginning of the recording only. The full moon in March symbolizes the end of winter and the beginning of summer. It gives a chance to reassess and reinvent and what’s more? The Worm Moon falls in the house of the diligent Virgo. It is the best time to organize your life and take measured decisions, as well as indulge in precision and perfection in all aspects of your life. You might feel a bit too self-critical around this time. March Full Moon, is a night of wonder and mysticism. The northern Native American tribes recognized this moon as the Full Crow Moon, the end of winter when the cawing of crows is nonstop. It is also called the Full Crust Moon due to the snow covers becoming crusted from falling by day and then freezing at night. The full moon is a time we feel the energy to express ourselves the most, solidify our relationships, discard the toxicity in our lives and make positive changes. When the temperature slowly starts to warm, and the ground begins to melt, the robins return, and earthworms appear, that’s when you know that March’s Full Moon will soon be here.

Medicine of the Home - Curanderismo Espiritu

This is a recording of the webinar Medicine of the Home - Curanderismo Espiritu . Grandmother Flordemayo was born on the border of Honduras and Nicaragua in the highlands of Central America into a family of healers, curanderas, and curanderos. A person of medicine in Spanish is called curandero, and the practice or method they use is called curanderismo. This practice encompasses many modalities, including bone setting, child birthing, massage, herbal remedies, and of course, dialogue with the invisible. The roots of curanderismo contain elements of indigenous spirituality. Grandmother Flordemayo grew up in a land abundant with crystals with intense spiritual energy. From the earliest time Grandmother Flordemayo was aware of the influence of geology and could feel herself start to spiral out into the cosmos as soon as she went to bed. She believes that her unique ability was inherited in her heart and is deeply grateful to have been born in Nicaragua. "You always have this yearning about where you come from and who you really are." - Grandmother Flordemayo. Grandmother Flordemayo learned dierent modalities for curanderismo from her mother and siblings, and elders in the village. She would help her mother deliver babies, "bringing light forth" in the town where she lived. Grandmother Flordemayo often observed how her mother would do everything.

January 2023 Astrology, Wisdom & Tarot Webinar

It’s thought that January’s full Moon came to be known as the Wolf's Moon because wolves were more likely to be heard howling at this time. It was traditionally believed that wolves howled due to hunger during winter, but we know today that wolves howl for different reasons. Howling and other wolf vocalizations are generally used to define territory, locate pack members, reinforce social bonds, and coordinate hunting. January’s full Moon is a “Micro moon” this year. Think of this term as the opposite of a “Supermoon.” It simply means that the full Moon is at its farthest point from Earth. The Full Moon is a time of culmination and the promise of fulfillment of that which was started at the New Moon. January's full moon is in the water sign, Cancer. Sacred Winter Solstice Blessings

Blessings on this beautiful day of Winter Solstice,. The 21st of December is our Winter Solstice, also known as “Yule.” The Winter Solstice is the longest night of the year & the shortest day. It is a time to give gratitude. The Winter Solstice reminds us that no matter how dark it is, the light always returns, if we can just remain patient, present, persistent, & authentic in the way we show up in the world. As dark as it is, the Winter Solstice represents the return of the sun and a sacred promise that everything will begin to grow again in the Spring like a seed. The solstice is here to assist us into reflecting inwards. It is a beautiful day to let go of what is not serving us, and release. Winter is a time to nurture and nourish yourself. There is something so beautiful about living in harmony with nature. Be like a seed today and remind yourself that a seed neither fears light nor darkness but, needs them both to grow. We are celebrating Mother Earth ! Flordemayo is a Curandera Espiritu, or a healer of divine spirit. Being born under the sign of the seed, Flordemayo sees her role as cosmic germinator through teaching, community, manifestation & development. In recent years, Flordemayo has been working with seeds. Specifically, she sees her role as a caretaker of seeds through prayer. In 2012, Flordemayo received a vision during dialogue with the Beloved Mother. In the vision, Flordemayo finds herself sitting in a rocking chair, rocking back and forth, & being guided to prepare seed bundles with prayer. The seed bundles are to be given to the parents of children being born today and those yet to be born in the future. This is the 1st time we are offering this webinar Mother Earth Renewed. Curandera Class 2 Recording

Flordemayo is a Curandera Espiritu, or a healer of the divine spirit. In many Hispanic communities in the United States, as well as in Mexico and parts of Central and South America, people often turn to the services of a curandero or curandera. The curandera (this is the feminine form, the masculine ends with the –ero) is someone who practices curanderismo — spiritual healing based upon the use of traditional herbs and remedies and is often considered a leader in the local community. The curandera in your neighborhood is the person you turn to for undiagnosed illness, particularly when that illness may have metaphysical or supernatural origins. Curanderismo evolved from a broad range of different beliefs and practices. Mayan, Aztec, and Catholic beliefs are the most obvious influences, but by no means the only ones. Cuban santería, which has African origins, is also a major influence, as are Islamic medicine and Greek humoral theory. There is also a massive amount of variety within curanderismo itself, as different healers and regions favor different practices. We are going to have an in-depth conversation, about spiritual living, dying and grief, and simple rituals you can do at home.

They connect us to the past and the future in our present moment. The ancestors tended the seeds upon which we rely- the seeds that sustained them, nourish us, and will feed future generations. Seeds are living libraries that store the knowledge, wisdom, and practices of the farmers who have stewarded them, the climates they have experienced, and the storms and droughts they have endured. Each seed carries a story; each seed is a story that is still unraveling. We become part of the story when we steward the seeds. Kahontakwas Diane Longboat, is a member of the Turtle Clan, Mohawk Nation at Six Nations Grand River Territory, Canada. She is a ceremonial leader, traditional teacher, builder, and healer. Studying for 20 years with an elder, Cherokee medicine woman Grandmother Nakai Breen, who brought the Medicine Hoop of Life sacred ceremony into the world, passed the medicine on to Grandmother SaSa. The sacred ceremony came from the ancient ones, sent to humanity at a time that it would be needed for the healing of Earth and the people. Twice a year, Grandmother SaSa holds a Medicine Hoop of Life ceremony. Grandmother SaSa holds the energy of the Eastern door. The East is where the Sun rises, and all life begins, she is located in an area described as one of the largest aquifers in New England, the liquid crystal of the mountain, where people will come to begin again. Steven Newcomb (Shawnee) co-founded the Indigenous Law Institute in 1992 together with Birgil Kill Straight (1940-2019), who was a traditional headman and ceremonial leader of the Oglala Lakota Nation. Newcomb is the author of Pagans in the Promised Land: Decoding the Doctrine of Christian Discovery and co-producer of a documentary movie The Doctrine of Discovery: Unmasking the Domination Code, directed by Sheldon Wolfchild (Dakota), which is based on the book Pagans. Newcomb was a regular columnist for Indian Country Today Media Network (previously Indian Country Today) from 2002 to 2016. After spending decades researching and writing, and working as an advocate in the international arena, Newcomb one of the world’s foremost experts on the patterns of domination and dehumanization found in the Vatican papal bulls of the fifteenth century. In 2016 he personally gifted a copy of Pagans to Pope Francis at St. Peter’s Square, and met with the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace to discuss the Vatican papal bulls. We are honored to have Greg Schoen as our first Wisdom Keeper. He was the head Seed Keeper at The Path until 2020. Since his youth, Greg Schoen has explored an interest in the natural world, & through adulthood has kept enthusiasm & involvement in horticulture, botany & ecology. This has led to interest in the native plants, traditional crops, & culture of the Southwest, where he lived between 1999 & 2020. In 1995 Greg befriended Carl Barnes, a Cherokee elder from Oklahoma, & had the good fortune of working with him over the following years. During that time Carl passed on much of his wisdom, along with seeds of many traditional and sacred varieties of corn. It was through spending time with Carl & growing these seeds for several seasons in New Mexico, that Greg began to find deeper insights into the spiritual nature of corn & the heritage in all seeds. Through this journey, Greg has taken a deep interest in seed preservation & crop diversity & its importance for humanity. Greg has recently relocated to Pawnee, Oklahoma, were he plans to continue his work with heritage seeds in an area rich in Native American culture. “Seed keeping can be a bridge toward world peace.” Grandmother Flordemayo will begin and end with a prayer as well as offer a unique a meditation and share her wisdom. He is the founder of Climate Actors and serves on the leadership council of Riverkeeper, the board of the Ashokan Center (New York’s oldest center for environmental education), and the board of Green Product Placement. He is the official Climate Change liason for the town of Marbletown with the Climate Mayors, and is the co-chair (with the fabulous Alice Quinn) of the Climate Reality Project Hudson Valley/Catskills, New York Chapter. Professionally, he is an actor and director. He has appeared in over 200 movies (including Sweet Land - the 1st carbon neutral independent feature film), mini-series and episodes of television.
